Wapo scaffolding (T) Ltd are mindful that erecting scaffolding is a dangerous and high risk business. We are very aware of the potential dangers both to our and your employees as well as in many situations and the general public.

We appreciates that good health and safety is an essential toll in the success of the company and fully integrates health and safety in all its operations.

Our goal is to eliminate all work related injuries and incidents at workplace. In order to achieve our goal Wapo scaffolding (T) Ltd

• To comply with all relevant legislation and code of practice as minimum standards for the industry and where necessary set higher standards than the minimum.
• Providing adequate resources to effectively manage health and safety.
• Monitoring our health & safety performance and auditing compliance with our systems and procedures.
• Ensuring the safe use of all work equipment and substances.
• Provide appropriate training to meet individual responsibilities and needs.
• Assessing the risks arising from our work activities and eliminating/reducing the risks identified to as low a level as is reasonably practicable.
• Bring this policy to the attention of all employees.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
• Regularly review H&S policy and institute improvements where possible.

Employees of Wapo Scaffolding regularly receive health and safety training in the form of in-house and/or external training. This training includes safety awareness or specific training such as CISRS training of scaffolders, working at height, asbestos awareness or on industry best practice such as SG4-10 and TG20.
